Cupping therapy has been used for centuries for healing. We use warm suction glass jars on an oiled back as a therapeutic massage system, designed to treat a wide range of physical problems from fibromyalgia pain, Head aches, migraines, muscle pain, spasms to inch loss on the stomach and thighs to cellulite, colds and flu. We apply warm oil to the body to warm and loosen up the tissue; the cups are then applied over the oil on the part of the body to be treated, then the cups are moved in ways to produce a warm deeply healing, stimulating and drawing massage. We apply the warm cups to the back by creating a vacuum. The suction and warmth together has a dramatic effect on the immune system of the body by moving blood and lymph and stimulating the muscles and spinal nerves. We may apply cups to just the back, shoulders or problem areas such as legs, near joints and stomach for a variety of conditions. Cupping isn’t at all pain full, can help improve stress, anxiety, depression, relieves muscle pain and body tension, is great to boost circulation, helps with frozen shoulder and various pains especially fibromyalgia.
