This treatment holds a focus on the Musculo-skeletal system and uses all the signature movements such as such as Effleurage, Friction, Petrissage, Tapotement and Percussion, to manipulate the soft tissue of the body to reduce muscle spasm and relieve pain. As well as affecting each of the physiological systems of the body for example cardiovascular, lymphatic and endocrine pathways. Swedish Massage also has a huge psychological effect of either invigoration and total relaxation. Entry Requirement Anatomy and Physiology is pre-requisite for this course.
