We value your time as we know it's Precious.  We work with a highest standard of integrity.  We always intend to work with you in an open, transparent and honest way and expect the same in return.

We except that no one is perfect and aim to fix any issues within 24 hours and endeavour to find better ways of working.

We care about 100% customer satisfaction as we love taking care of others.  We respect you and your time 100% we expect the same in return.  

Health & Personal Hygiene before you and during your visit

Please ensure you are not ill with anything contagious i.e cold, flu, virus or have a temperature

and have Taken a shower or bath

Please place all your personal items including mobile phones in the basket provided at the entrance and wash your hands before entering the treatment area.  

Footwear

Please ensure you remove any outdoor footwear at the entrance, wear or bring a pair of socks or slippers with you as we request shoes be removed before entering the treatment areas. 

Slippers are provided for treatments over 2 Hours or disposables can be purchased from £1.50.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

INFORMATION ABOUT THE HEALING CABIN ACADEMY BOOKING TERMS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

BOOKING A COURSE

You can book online, using the website or by Emailing the Academy

 

A booking fee is required to secure your place, your place cannot be held for you until a fee is received. 14 days before the course is held, full payment should be completed.

 

PAYING FOR YOUR COURSE

You can pay for the course by direct bank transfer, using the online system Details will be emailed once your payment is received. You can pay the balance via bank transfer.

 

Booking Fee

We understand that life comes up, but the fee is totally non-refundable.  If you cannot attend the course, provided you give us 14 DAYS  notice we will move your fee once only to the next course.

 

NOTICE OF ATTENDANCE

If you cannot attend the course, 14 days’ notice must be given, you can then be transferred to another course, once only.

 

DECIDING NOT TO ATTEND

Non-refundable course fee.

 

Please note that if you do not attend a course without any prior notice given (i.e. no show), you will still be liable for the full cost of the course that you have booked, and therefore will be invoiced for the balance that was due.

 

REFUND POLICY

All fees are non-refundable

 

All courses cancelled up to 14 days before the course start date: refund of the balance of course cost fee

All courses cancelled less than 14 days before the course start date: 100% of the fee still applies.(no refund will be given)

No show on the date of the course: 100% of the fee still applies (no refund will be given)

COURSE MATERIALS

The course material is the property of The Healing Cabin Academy and is protected by copyright.  You cannot reproduce any of the manual without express written permission from us.  You will be in breach of contract by using the material or teaching the subject from the material.  We aim to mark our course distance assessments within 7 working days if not received back within this time please check your sent and junk items before emailing.

 

To practice the treatment you have studied valid insurance is needed and you should obtain student insurance while you practice. All courses are accredited through ABT IGCT & any other accreditation provider we choose.  It's your responsibility to check with your insurance, employer and any council you wish to register with before taking our courses to ensure they will except them as we are unable to provide a refund once taken.

It is your responsibility to check that your existing insurance company will accept the course for insurance purposes.

 

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

The Academy teach courses to a high standard adhering to all health and safety standards throughout. Certificates are given out to students who have shown competence throughout the course. However we have the right to withhold certificate if the tutor deems the student to not have reached a competent standard. Case studies will be set and reassessment will be arranged.  There may be an additional charge for this.

 

ATTENDING THE COURSE

You will be expected to turn up on time for the course, the tutor is generally available for up to  10 minutes prior to the course start time.  Any medical conditions or additional needs should be discussed prior to the course, and noted on your booking form.  You should be prepared to give and receive treatments throughout the course to complete and be deemed competent.

 

PROFESSIONAL DRESS CODE

Please make sure you attend all courses wearing the appropriate smart black professional attire.

 

PPE

Please turn up to the course with your own Clean Face Shield Visor, Disposable Face masks, gloves, two large towels and sanitiser.

 

Social distancing

Please be aware of keeping your distance from the teacher and other students during the course wearing a mask at all times, and a visor when working on each other.  Please wash and sanitise hands often and sanitise all facilities after use. Please bring your own water bottle, lunch and be prepared to eat in your car or local café during the covid 19 pandemic due to restrictions.

 

PARKING

There are several places to park on the roads adjacent to the salon please don’t park directly outside.  You are able to but please do not block the drive ways.  You are also able to park on-street but please note any parking restrictions, road markings or signage and we ask that you are considerate to the local community.

 

DISCLAIMER

This course is taught to a high standard throughout, it does not diagnose medical conditions and should not be treated as a substitute for medical care. Contraindications and benefits are discussed as part of the course but are not intended to represent medical advice, nor be deemed as a treatment to cure or prevent disease. All manuals have been checked and approved for accreditation through ABT and IGCT.

 

The Academy accept no liability for injury or loss to person or property throughout.

 

The Academy holds no responsibility for damage caused by you to another person after you have received your training.
