We're getting lots of bookings for help and support during Menopause. I'll do my best to help with tips on how to help yourself & others cope:

Menopause usually begins in the late 40s or early 50s for the majority of women and men and usually lasts for a few years.

Alot of people experience a range of symptoms that may include: Fatigue, excess sweating, increased pain, hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, fat gain, irritability and extreme tiredness.

Menopausal women are also at a higher risk of several diseases including Obesity, Osteoporosis, Heart disease and Diabetes.

Many people are turning to natural supplements, remedies, holistic detox, cranial balancing stress release & massage for relief.

Here are some of the natural ways to reduce menopausal symptoms:

Cut out smoking and Alcohol as these can cause an overload of toxins making your symptoms worse.

Lose excess body fat, watch the calories going in and try to move more despite the tiredness.

Hormonal changes during menopause can cause bones to weaken, increasing the risk of osteoporosis try to consume foods rich in vitamin D and calcium.

Calcium and vitamin D are renowned to be good for bone health so it's really important to get enough of these nutrients in your diet.

Calcium rich foods include dairy cheese and milk but just as good Green, leafy vegetables such as spring greens, kale and spinach have loads of calcium in too. It's also found in sardines beans, tofu and other foods.

Sunlight is the major and your main source of vitamin D, since your skin produces it when exposed to the sun.

However, as you get older, your skin gets less efficient at making it. Walk every day.

If you aren't out in the sun much or if you cover up your skin, either taking a good quality supplement or increasing food sources of vitamin D is very important.

Rich dietary sources include oily fish, Fish oil, eggs and foods fortified with vitamin D.
