What is vaginal or yoni steaming?
Yoni steaming, also known as vaginal steaming, is a practice in which a woman allows the warmth of herbal steam to go upward against the exterior of her vulva and into her vagina in order to help heal and balance a variety of health and wellness issues. This vaginal steam treatment is actually an ancient therapy respected by healers worldwide.

Precautions & Contraindications
Do not steam if you’re pregnant or if you are trying to conceive; speak with a practitioner
Do not steam during your period
Do not steam if you have an IUD
Do not steam if there is excess heat in the body due to fever, hot flashes, or night sweats
Do not use essential oils, they are too harsh for the vagina. stick with dried or fresh herbs.
Do not steam if you have any type of internal or external infection

Speak with an herbalist or holistic practitioner if you are working to heal severe hormonal issues or infertility
Directions:
Boil your kettle and pour 3/4 litre into a large pan, bring to boil and add your Yoni blend. Turn the heat down to simmer and cover for 5 minutes. Pouring the herbs and water into another pot or bowl, which you will place under a yoni steaming seat or in a clean toilet. Undress from the waist down, and then squat or sit over the blend, making sure that the water does not touch the skin, you do not want the steam to feel too hot or aggressive, this has to feel comfortable. Cover your self with a towel so you can keep the steam in, sit and breathe for between 15 - 20 minutes, listen to calming music, light candles this is your own sacred self practice. Once you have finished steaming, carefully drain the water and either put herbs into bin.
